Ask for a hint.
Understand the result.

Ask for an explanation before requesting an edit. Try the formula yourself, compare it with an expected result and change an input to test your understanding. When you need help building, the assistant can also work with cells, formulas, charts and sheets.

  • Type it, say it, attach it. Work with text requests, a microphone and supported file attachments.
  • Stay in control. Inspect the changes in your sheet. The assistant respects your document permissions.
  • Credits you can plan around. Pro includes 2,000 AI credits per month. Usage varies by task and voice use.

A practical learning loop

From a lesson to a result you can explain.

1. Try the task

Open a worked example in a separate workbook. Predict the answer before you enter a formula.

2. Ask for a hint

Use Pro AI to discuss the next step. Ask it to leave the cells unchanged while you solve the problem.

3. Check the result

Inspect the formula and change an input. Academy exercises have their own checks; an AI answer alone does not certify completion.

Keep working together.

The Arte Sheets connector connects a conversation to a shared workbook: formulas, sheets and charts stay in the document for you and your team to inspect and develop.

Our ChatGPT plugin is submitted for review and is not yet publicly approved. Availability depends on approval and your account. The in-app Pro assistant is available separately.
