Terms of Service

1. Scope of Service & Trademark Notice

Arte Sheets (https://sheets.arte-soft.com/) provides a browser-based spreadsheet editor, private cloud workbook storage, and interactive spreadsheet Academy lessons operated by Arte Soft EOOD. Arte Sheets is an independent product of Arte Soft EOOD and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Microsoft Corporation. Microsoft Excel is a trademark of Microsoft Corporation, referenced solely to describe file format (.xlsx) and formula compatibility.

2. Free Tier, Local Workbooks & Cloud Quotas

The core spreadsheet editor — including 180+ formulas, dynamic arrays, .xlsx and .csv import/export, charts, basic pivot tables, and introductory Academy lessons — works immediately without registration. Verified free accounts may also save up to 10 private cloud workbooks (up to 10 MiB per workbook, 100 MiB total) in My files. You remain responsible for maintaining .xlsx backups of critical files.

3. Arte Sheets Pro Subscriptions, Taxes & Billing

• Plans & Taxes: Arte Sheets Pro offers optional recurring subscriptions at net base prices of $13.99 USD / month or $41.99 USD / year plus applicable VAT or sales tax calculated at Stripe Checkout (with EU B2B VAT ID / reverse-charge support where eligible). Pro unlocks up to 1,000 private cloud workbooks (up to 20 MiB per workbook, 1 GiB total), advanced spreadsheet automation tools (Macros & UDFs, Goal Seek, multi-dimension & advanced PivotTable aggregations), all interactive Pro Academy lessons, and verified completion certificates.
• Renewal & Cancellation: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless canceled beforehand through Account → Manage subscription (Stripe Customer Portal). When you cancel, your Pro access remains active until the end of your current paid billing period. If a subscription ends while you store more than 10 cloud workbooks, existing workbooks remain readable, downloadable, and deletable, while creating new cloud workbooks requires freeing quota or renewing Pro.
• Refunds & Disputes: Refund requests may be submitted to office@arte-soft.com and are handled in accordance with applicable EU consumer law. Full refunds or payment chargebacks/disputes immediately end Pro entitlement access.

4. Acceptable Use & Intellectual Property

Your own spreadsheets and data belong exclusively to you. The Arte Sheets software, curriculum exercises, and lesson translations are copyright Arte Soft EOOD. Subscriptions are for individual use; automated scraping, redistribution of private lesson payloads, abuse of cloud storage quotas, or credential sharing is prohibited.

5. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of uninterrupted operation or fitness for high-risk financial, medical, or safety-critical filings. Always verify critical calculations independently. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Arte Soft EOOD's aggregate liability shall not exceed the subscription fees paid by you in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

6. Governing Law & Contact
