Count Cells That Do Not Contain Errors & Sign Off Imported Sheets

Count valid non-error cells versus broken formulas across imported schedules using per-row NOT(ISERROR(...)) flags, and coordinate multi-user remediation in Arte Sheets.

Why plain COUNTA counts #N/A and #DIV/0! as populated cells

COUNTA(B2:B6) counts every non-blank cell—including broken #DIV/0!, #N/A, and #VALUE! results—so an imported financial schedule can report "5 of 5 rows populated" even when two margin cells are throwing errors.

Adding an explicit Valid_Cell helper column NOT(ISERROR(B2)) (and AND(B2 <> "", NOT(ISERROR(B2))) when blanks must also be excluded) lets COUNTIF(C2:C6, TRUE) measure clean, usable rows reliably without masking upstream issues.

Audit MetricFormula PatternIncludes Blanks?Includes Errors?
Error-free cells (incl. blanks)COUNTIF(IsCleanRange, TRUE)YesNo
Populated & error-free cellsCOUNTIF(IsPopulatedClean, TRUE)NoNo
Broken formula countROWS(B2:B6) - COUNTIF(IsCleanRange, TRUE)NoOnly errors

Per-Row Non-Error Flag & Clean-Row Count

Evaluate AND(B2 <> "", NOT(ISERROR(B2))) per row in C2:C6, then count TRUE flags in F2 and gate release readiness in F4.

Collaborative Error Remediation & AI Attachment Triage in Arte Sheets

When consolidating .csv or .xlsx vendor exports (up to 2 MB per file as safe, non-executing excerpts in the Arte Sheets AI Assistant), contributors can watch live cursors and avatars while resolving #DIV/0! or #N/A rows, tag data owners with @mentions in cell comments (triggering notifications), or route fixes through Suggest-mode cell proposals before the workbook owner flips the sign-off gate.

=IF(F3 = 0, "CLEAN_FOR_REVIEW", "FIX_" & F3 & "_ERRORS")
