AI Voice Spreadsheet Commands: Live Selection Context, Barge-In & Validated Edits

Use Arte Sheets’ bounded WebRTC voice assistant (up to 3 minutes per call) to dictate quota attainment formulas, charts, and tab navigation hands-free while client-side validation and version checks protect every cell.

Hands-free WebRTC spreadsheet voice sessions with live selection updates and server-side credit safety!

Pressing Microphone inside Arte Sheets’ ✦ AI dialog opens a direct WebRTC voice session (up to 3 minutes per session on eligible verified-email accounts using available monthly credits) equipped with browser echo cancellation, noise suppression, auto-gain control, semantic voice-activity detection (VAD), and natural barge-in so you can interrupt spoken replies mid-sentence! Whenever you click a different cell range or switch tabs, the editor automatically refreshes the assistant’s bounded selection context in the background.

Crucially, spoken commands never bypass spreadsheet safety: voice tool calls pass through the exact same client-side validators and workbook version snapshots as typed prompts! If you are actively typing inside a cell or another collaborator changes the sheet before a proposal completes, the assistant flags the proposal stale instead of clobbering live work—and after a validated tool action finishes, spoken confirmation stays concise ("Done.") rather than reading raw formula syntax aloud.

Voice-Friendly Bounded Quota Attainment % Formula = IF(B2 <= 0, "Invalid Quota", ROUND(C2 / B2 * 100, 2))

Computes rep quota attainment percentage using explicit bounded references compatible with AI patch validation.

=IF(B2 <= 0, "Invalid Quota", ROUND(C2 / B2 * 100, 2))

Average Closed Bookings Across Active Quota Reps via AVERAGEIFS(C2:C5, B2:B5, ">0")

Guards with COUNTIF(B2:B5, ">0") = 0 before averaging closed ARR across active reps.

=IF(COUNTIF(B2:B5, ">0") = 0, "No Active Quotas", ROUND(AVERAGEIFS(C2:C5, B2:B5, ">0"), 2))
