In Arte Sheets, eligible accounts with a verified email and available monthly AI credits can open the ✦ AI assistant to draft or apply worksheet edits by typed prompt (up to 1,000 characters) or bounded WebRTC voice session (up to 3 minutes per call with browser echo/noise suppression and natural barge-in). Instead of scanning an entire workbook blindly, the assistant reads your active cell selection plus a compact top-left sample—so selecting A1:D5 before asking "add variance dollars and guarded variance % for each budget line" gives exact coordinate context!
Every cell patch is validated before touching the grid: up to 100 unique cells per turn, explicit bounded ranges (<= 10,000 cells, never whole-column A:A or external [workbook] links), data-validation checks, and safe supported style fields (bold, italic, #RRGGBB text/background colors, general/number/integer/currency/percent/date formats, and left/center/right alignment). When you ask for a preview, a Before / Proposal table lets you click Apply changes or Discard (and marks the proposal stale if the sheet changed meanwhile); explicit edits apply with Undo on local workbooks, or submit automatically as reviewable cell suggestions when working in suggest mode or as a suggester!
