How AI cell edits interact with collaborative roles (owner, contributor, suggester, viewer) and Suggest Mode
On shared real-time workbooks in Arte Sheets—complete with live participant cursors, avatars, threaded cell comments, @mentions, and personal notifications—the AI Assistant (eligible plan with verified email and metered monthly AI credits) strictly honors your active workbook permissions! Viewers, revoked sessions, and protected sheets are blocked from all AI mutations (readonly).
When an owner or contributor switches the workbook into Suggest Mode—or when a collaborator holds the suggester role—js/assistant/actions.js allows AI cell value and formula patches (up to 100 unique non-merged, non-spill cells, atomic rollback on any validation failure) and routes them straight into reviewable workbook cell suggestions (returning "suggested") while blocking style-key edits in suggest mode and blocking structural sheet/row/chart commands! Meanwhile, share_document ("viewer", "suggester", "contributor") is restricted to verified-email workbook owners, never scrapes emails from cell/attachment data, and ONLY renders a confirmation card—invitations are sent solely when the owner clicks Send invitation.
