When reconciling an internal ledger (A1:B4) against an emailed vendor statement file, Arte Sheets’ AI assistant lets you attach an .xlsx, .csv, .tsv, or .txt file up to 2 MB. A dedicated background Web Worker inspects archive structure and extracts a bounded plain-text excerpt (for .xlsx, up to the first 3 worksheets, 100 rows × 12 columns / 150 lines, capped before sending context) without ever executing formulas or macros stored inside the external file!
You can then ask the assistant (by text or voice) to place the extracted invoice IDs and statement amounts into an adjacent staging range D1:E4 on your active sheet and write explicit-range XLOOKUP variance formulas—flagging both dollar discrepancies ($50.00 under-billed on INV-202) and invoices missing from the attached statement ("INV-203")!
